Meet The Team

Lisa Martin
Founder & CEO

Lisa Martin, Founder and President of Companion Pets in Crisis, has devoted her life to helping animals and supporting the people who love them. Her journey began at just 10 years old, volunteering at her local Humane Society, and has since spanned animal shelter work, fostering, pet care services, and certification as an EMT. While serving as a Crisis Responder with the Phoenix Fire Department, Lisa recognized the critical gap between human and pet care during emergencies—a realization that led her to establish CPiC. Guided by her deep passion for the human–animal bond, she is committed to ensuring pets and their families can stay together through life’s most challenging moments.
